Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Logistics Operations Executive based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Logistics Operations Executive will coordinate daily freight forwarding activities across air, sea, and land, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, and monitoring cargo movements from origin to destination.

Responsibilities include liaising with carriers, customs brokers, warehouse teams, and transport providers to ensure timely and compliant delivery.

The role will handle shipment tracking, update internal systems, and provide customers with accurate, proactive status updates.

The Logistics Operations Executive will also support continuous process improvement, assist with rate inquiries and quotations, and help resolve operational issues in a professional and customer-focused manner.

Qualifications

  • Strong logistics and operations capabilities, including Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management skills for coordinating end-to-end shipments and optimizing processes.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to manage client expectations, provide clear updates, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Basic to intermediate Sales skills to support quoting, upselling value-added services, and maintaining positive long-term customer relationships.
  • Min 2-3 years experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or related logistics roles; familiarity with air, sea, and land freight, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
  • Proficiency with logistics software, shipment tracking tools, and standard office applications; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; problem-solving mindset and readiness to handle time-sensitive issues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; fluency in English is required, and additional languages are an advantage.
