Logistics Operation Manager

Overview

• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses, and transport providers.
• Forecast demand to ensure proper inventory and resource allocation.
• Oversee inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess stock.
• Implement inventory control systems
• Ensure warehouses are efficient, safe, and compliant with regulations
• Plan and optimize transportation routes.
• Select and manage carriers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods while minimizing costs.
• Analyze logistics processes to improve efficiency.
• Use data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Implement technology solutions like WMS, TMS, ERP systems.
• Create and manage logistics budgets.

• Reduce transportation, warehousing, and inventory costs through strategic planning.
• Monitor expenses and analyze variances.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping, customs, and safety regulations.
• Manage risks related to transport delays, supply disruptions, and product damage.
• Develop contingency and emergency plans.
• Manage and train logistics staff (warehouse workers, drivers, coordinators).
• Assign tasks and evaluate team performance.
• Foster a culture of safety and efficiency.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipments, and issues.
• Resolve delivery or inventory-related problems promptly.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics metrics.
• Prepare performance reports for management.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and cost per shipment.

Candidate Requirement

• Must be having a strong and efficient English speaking skills.
• Must have Bachelor degree
• Must be 5 years and above experience in Logistics Industry.
