  • Coordinate contractors, work packages, construction teams, and project stakeholders; plan upcoming logistics requirements.
  • Manage movement of people, vehicles, materials, and plant, including routes, haul roads, laydown areas, loading zones, holding areas, and compounds.
  • Manage delivery schedules and resolve conflicts over shared access and resources.
  • Review contractor logistics plans, traffic arrangements, mobilization plans, and proposed site layouts.
  • Coordinate road closures, diversions, temporary traffic management, site access, and compliance with controls.
  • Identify constraints and implement practical solutions; attend coordination meetings and support contractor mobilization and demobilization.
  • Provide updates and reports to senior management; ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are met and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree, diploma, or recognized qualification in logistics, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant construction health and safety qualification.
  • Relevant construction or site logistics experience, including strong experience on major construction, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects.
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating multiple contractors and high volumes of vehicles, materials, and plant.
  • Knowledge of site logistics, traffic management, access control, delivery management, logistics plans, and site procedures.
  • Strong planning, stakeholder management, communication, reporting, and organizational skills; able to work independently and own issues through resolution.
  • Professional-body membership in logistics, construction, or project management is advantageous.
  • Construction logistics, delivery management, or planning systems experience is advantageous; AutoCAD is desirable but not essential.

Tools and operational knowledge
