Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Riyadh region for a Logistics Manager.
The Logistics Manager will oversee and manage the company’s supply chain and logistics strategy, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, equipment, and services.
Primary responsibilities include managing procurement activities, overseeing inventory and distribution processes, establishing relationships with vendors and partners, optimizing operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The role will play a critical part in supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management
- Strong skills in Inventory Management and Procurement
- Customer Service expertise and the ability to build strong vendor and client relationships
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in logistics and supply chain processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Proficiency in logistics software or inventory systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Strategic Planning & Operations
- Design Distribution Networks: Formulate optimal transportation routes and warehousing layouts.
- Streamline Material Flow: Orchestrate incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products.
- Monitor Performance Metrics: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like order accuracy and delivery times.
- Implement Technology: Deploy Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- Formulate and supervise optimal transportation from warehouse to installation sites, according to project timing and PM and T&C Mgr input.
Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Control Stock Levels: Maintain optimal inventory precision to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Audit Warehouse Safety: Enforce Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance.
- Maximize Storage Space: Reconfigure racking systems to increase cubic foot utilization.
• Vendor & Carrier Management
- Negotiate Carrier Contracts: Secure competitive shipping rates with freight forwarders and couriers.
- Evaluate Partner Quality: Conduct quarterly performance reviews of third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Resolve Delivery Discrepancies: Manage claims for damaged goods or delayed shipments.
- Financial & Compliance Oversight o Manage Departmental Budgets: Control line-item expenses for fuel, maintenance, and labor.
- Enforce Custom Regulations: Guarantee proper documentation for international import/export compliance.
- Mitigate Risk Factors: Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions or weather delays.
