• **RESPONSIBILITIES**
• Responsible for planning and optimising transportation and delivery routes, selecting appropriate shipping carriers, and negotiating competitive freight rates across road, rail, sea, and air transport to ensure cost-effective and efficient logistics operations.
• Support management in developing future logistics capabilities, including warehousing, trucking, transportation, and integrated supply chain solutions.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Facilitate the transition of existing clientele and business opportunities to AOP Marine and Logistics, where appropriate.
• Drive business development initiatives, expand the customer base, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Provide strategic recommendations to management on the growth and development of the logistics division, including opportunities in warehousing, transportation, trucking, and integrated logistics solutions.
• Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and support management in developing and executing long-term logistics and supply chain strategies.
• Support the achievement of revenue, profitability, operational efficiency, and business development objectives for the logistics division.
• Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations, customs requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies across all logistics operations.
• Monitor logistics performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and implement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
