Position overview
The Logistics Manager will oversee and improve supply-chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to meet customer demand and company goals.
The role is based in Bahadurgarh, Haryana.
Key responsibilities
- Develop logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage transportation, warehousing, and inventory operations, and coordinate suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors for timely deliveries.
- Analyze logistics KPIs, implement improvements, and lead and mentor the logistics team.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and negotiate contracts and relationships with freight carriers and logistics providers.
- Coordinate with sales, production, and customer service, and manage logistics budgets and financial performance.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply-chain management, business administration, or a related field is listed; the separate education field marks a bachelor’s degree as preferred.
- The posting requests logistics or supply-chain experience but leaves the number of years blank; a separate experience field lists 5 years as preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
