Overview
As a Logistics Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire logistics process, from receiving and storing goods to coordinating deliveries.
Your primary goal is to optimize warehouse operations, minimize costs, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
You will work closely with the supply chain team to develop and implement strategies that enhance our overall logistics performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including stock levels, product rotation, and inventory control.
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to arrange timely deliveries and optimize transportation routes.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and organization systems.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Monitor and analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate and secure the best rates for transportation and logistics services.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
