Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Executive to manage and coordinate the movement of goods, documentation, and shipments.
The ideal candidate should have experience in import and export operations, shipment tracking, and coordination with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export shipments from order confirmation to final delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and customs documents.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers.
- Monitor shipment schedules and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and sales teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Handle customs clearance requirements and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and shipment documentation.
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and logistics-related issues.
- Assist in freight negotiations and cost optimization initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and international trade documentation.
- Experience handling shipments to Africa, the Middle East, or international markets is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo experience is an advantage).
