Logistics & Dispatch Management

Overview

• Manage all outbound logistics operations for Marmar Halim, ensuring efficient and cost-effective shipment execution across domestic, GCC, and international destinations.
• Coordinate courier bookings, evaluate shipping options, negotiate competitive freight rates, and select the most appropriate shipping method based on order requirements, delivery timelines, and budget considerations.
• Demonstrate proven hands-on expertise with DHL, FedEx, Aramex, and other courier shipping platforms, leveraging system knowledge and carrier relationships to secure the most competitive rates and optimize shipping costs.
• Prepare, review, and verify all shipping documentation, including Airway Bills (AWBs), Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, Customs Declarations, Certificates of Origin, and any other documentation required for international shipments.
• Ensure all shipments are accurately packed, labelled, and dispatched in accordance with company standards and committed delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with courier, freight, and logistics partners; continuously monitor service performance and proactively resolve delivery issues, delays, or operational challenges.
• Track shipments from dispatch through final delivery, ensuring timely communication with internal stakeholders and customers regarding shipment status and exceptions.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and reverse logistics processes, including collection arrangements, inspection coordination, restocking, and redistribution activities.
• Oversee inbound freight and raw material deliveries by coordinating receiving schedules with warehouse and stockroom teams and verifying deliveries against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Notes (DNs).
• Monitor logistics expenditures and transportation costs, preparing regular reports and identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive dispatch and logistics records, including shipment tracking references, courier details, proof of delivery, customs documentation, and delivery confirmations.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and supply chain continuity.
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, shipping requirements, company policies, and international trade standards.
