Role Description
The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, responsible for managing the end-to-end movement of goods.
Daily tasks include coordinating shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers, preparing and reviewing shipping documents, and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrival.
The role involves tracking inventory levels, updating internal systems, and resolving logistical issues or delays in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
The Logistics Coordinator also supports customer service by providing shipment updates, handling inquiries, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, optimize routes, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, address shipment concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to track stock levels, reconcile records, and support replenishment planning.
- Candidates should possess Supply Chain Management knowledge to understand end-to-end processes, vendor coordination, and compliance requirements.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with logistics or ERP software, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Relevant experience in logistics, trading, or supply chain operations, ideally within the UAE or GCC region, is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
