Role overview
The Logistics Coordinator supports client service, order processing, inventory and cargo tracking, administration, and daily driver operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer client inquiries and process and validate orders before shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and cargo status in the ERP system.
- Perform data entry, office administration, filing, and related tasks as needed.
- Prepare paperwork for clients and drivers for pickups and drop-offs.
- Provide guidance on freight-related matters when required.
- Assist with day-to-day driver operations and help ensure effective, safe, and efficient operations.
Required skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication with clients in English.
- Intermediate computer skills.
Preferred experience
- Previous experience in freight forwarding or warehousing industry dispatching is an asset.
