Logistics and Compliance Analyst

Role overview

Planning, analytics, and improvement

• Analyze forecasts, trends, inventory, service levels, and replenishment performance; develop reporting tools, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Use SQL, Excel, Python, and other tools to analyze complex datasets, automate reporting, and recommend business improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts, support root cause analysis and corrective actions, document processes, and contribute to strategic projects.

AI and supplier performance

• Champion AI and Microsoft Copilot adoption, identify automation opportunities, develop AI-enabled workflows, and support team training and change management.
• Track supplier OTIF, fill rates, availability, and order compliance; resolve service issues with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Develop supplier reporting and scorecards and collaborate across Merchandising, Distribution, Replenishment, and vendors.

Stakeholder and safety responsibilities

• Partner with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Operations, Finance, IT, vendors, category managers, store management, and warehouse management.
• Promote safe work practices, identify and address safety risks, support equipment checks, and ensure team members are trained to work safely.

Knowledge, skills, and credentials

• Post-secondary education in supply chain, business, engineering, analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline.
• At least 1–3 years in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory management, or business analytics, including practical AI application.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, forecasting, inventory management, and retail replenishment; advanced Excel and working SQL knowledge.
• Experience with ERP, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain planning systems and demonstrated use of Microsoft Copilot and other AI technologies.
• Business intelligence tools, Python, relevant certifications, and grocery retail, CPG, or distribution experience are assets.
