Logistics Analyst - Seating

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Determine material requirements from production plans and customer needs, and disposition purchased project parts in the ERP system.
• Maintain inventory and material availability for production.
• Communicate with suppliers, arrange special transportation, plan inventory, and clarify debit balances.
• Track supplier deliveries and backorders, and enter data into the ERP system.
• Coordinate workflow across goods receipt, production, and shipping.
• Arrange material pickups from suppliers or storage warehouses.
• Manage inventory to the profit plan and support material planning for new launches and build-outs.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a similar field.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants; duties may involve climbing, lifting, or confined spaces.
• Must be organized, communicate well, and perform essential duties satisfactorily.
