Valiant is looking for a Locksmith to join our team! The Locksmith installs, repairs, modifies, and opens various locking mechanisms found on doors, desks, compartments, mobile equipment, safes, and vaults.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair key locksets.
• Fabricate and duplicate keys.
• Open key locksets.
• Replace or repair door assemblies and locks.
• Install, maintain, repair, replace, remove, open, and reset mechanical and electronic combinations for cipher locks.
• Perform other locksmith duties as designated by Security, the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and Facility Services Office personnel.
• Maintain key inventories and records in the Facility Services Keystone program.
• Document all key issuance in accordance with site Facility Services policies and procedures.
• Fabricate and duplicate keys as necessary.
• Provide locksmith services related to card-access system components, including installation, maintenance, repair, replacement, removal, programming, and reprogramming.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
