BlueLinx is seeking professional CDL-A drivers to operate newer, well-maintained equipment on local routes while delivering building materials safely and accurately.

Drivers earn $29.50 per hour with daily overtime after 8 hours worked.

This role offers home-daily routes, no weekend hours, first-shift schedules, excellent benefits, and a team culture focused on safety, respect, and dependable service.

• Safely secure loads using straps only; no tarping required.
• Deliver freight accurately and on time while supporting customer service expectations.
• Handle customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork and customer documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and report issues promptly.
• Maintain daily safety checklists and complete required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbooks and complete trip reports.
• Direct customer unloading when required.

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 12 months of recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to properly secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Will I be home every night?

Yes.

Drivers operate local routes and return home each night.

Are weekend hours required?

No.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with no scheduled weekend hours.

How is overtime paid?

Drivers earn overtime after 8 hours worked in a day.

Is tarping required?

No.

Loads are secured using straps only with flatbed and curtain-side trailers.
