The Role
- The Loader / Packer is a hands-on member of the moving crew, responsible for safely packing, handling, loading, and unloading customers' belongings under the direction of the Team Leader — with care, speed, and a positive attitude.
- Pack customers' items securely using the correct materials and methods.
- Load and unload items into and out of the vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Handle all goods — especially fragile and valuable items — with care to prevent damage.
- Follow the Team Leader's instructions and work as part of the crew.
- Help assemble and dismantle furniture where required.
- Keep the work area and vehicle tidy and organised during the job.
- Use proper lifting techniques and follow all safety guidelines.
- Treat customers' homes, property, and belongings with respect.
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items throughout the day.
- Careful, reliable, and hard-working.
- A team player who follows instructions well.
- Punctual and presentable.
- English communication skills are a plus (not essential).
- Previous experience in moving, packing, or labour work (preferred, not essential — training provided).
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on the job schedule.
- Good health and stamina for physical work.
