Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of paralegal experience in a civil litigation environment
  • Strong knowledge of California civil court procedures, rules, and filing requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal document management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate, Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Civil litigation trial preparation experience — strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience preparing trial exhibits, binders, jury instructions, and witness materials
  • Familiarity with California employment law matters (discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage & hour)
  • Experience with e-filing platforms (One Legal, File & ServeXpress, or similar)
  • Proficiency in case management software (Clio, MyCase, or similar)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
