Role Overview

We are seeking a Litigation & Disputes Counsel to support the management of litigation, regulatory investigations, enforcement matters, and contentious legal issues across multiple jurisdictions.

This role will work closely with internal stakeholders, external counsel, regulators, and law enforcement agencies to ensure the effective handling of dispute related matters and legal process

es.This is an ideal opportunity for a junior lawyer seeking exposure to a broad range of litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters within a fast paced global digital asset business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of litigation, arbitration, mediation, and dispute resolution matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on ongoing disputes, investigations, and enforcement matters.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with case assessments, evidence gathering, and fact finding exercises.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain litigation related documentation, including court filings, legal notices, settlement agreements, powers of attorney, and supporting documents.
  • Manage notarisation, legalisation, certification, and other procedural requirements for legal matters across jurisdictions.
  • Assist in responding to regulatory investigations, court orders, subpoenas, and law enforcement requests.
  • Case file management, track deadlines, maintain matter records, and ensure timely progression of assigned matters.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain information, documentation, and approvals required for dispute related matters.
  • Monitor litigation and enforcement developments that may impact the business.
  • Support the development and maintenance of dispute management processes, templates, and internal guidance materials.

Requirements

  • Minimally 2 years of relevant experience in litigation, disputes, investigations, or regulatory matters. LLB required.
  • Experience gained from a law firm, in-house legal team, regulatory body, or similar legal environment.
  • Understanding of litigation procedures, court processes, and dispute resolution frameworks.
  • Strong legal research, drafting, and document management skills.
  • Familiarity with powers of attorney, notarisation, legalisation, court filings, and related legal administrative processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and legal technology tools to enhance legal research, document review, and operational efficiency.
