Role Description
We are seeking a Licensed Audiologist for a full-time on-site position based in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities
include conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations, prescribing and fitting hearing aids, providing auditory rehabilitation, and collaborating with patients and healthcare teams to address hearing concerns.
Additional duties include maintaining accurate records, staying updated on advancements in audiology, and educating patients on hearing health and device usage.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in performing hearing assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and interpreting results.
- Experience with hearing aids, including selection, fitting, programming, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of auditory rehabilitation techniques and patient education methods.
- Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills to provide patient-centered care.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records and reporting results.
- Problem-solving skills to manage complex cases and adapt treatment plans effectively.
- Eligibility for audiology licensure and certification as per the requirements of Qatar.
- Prior experience in a clinical or medical setting is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
