Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Light Vehicle Driver with a valid UAE manual driving license.
The candidate will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, including vans, and ensuring timely transportation of materials, documents, and staff as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive light vehicles and vans for daily company operations.
- Transport materials, documents, and/or staff between sites, suppliers, and office locations.
- Follow assigned routes and ensure timely delivery and collection.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, RTA rules, and company driving policies.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes) and report any issues immediately.
- Assist in loading and unloading items when required.
- Maintain accurate trip records and delivery logs if needed.
- Follow safety procedures at all times while on duty.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Light Vehicle Manual Driving License (mandatory).
- Proven experience driving vans and light vehicles in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic systems.
- Good understanding of RTA rules and traffic regulations.
- Clean driving record is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible attitude.
- Basic communication skills in English (Hindi is an advantage).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with construction or fit-out site logistics.
- Ability to manage time and multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Basic vehicle maintenance awareness.
