Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Valid Lifting Supervisor Certification (e.g., LEEA / Third Party Approved)
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging practices, and crane safety
• Familiarity with load charts, lifting plans, and risk assessments
• Good understanding of HSE regulations and safe lifting procedures
• Minimum 5 Years in Oil & Gas Industry

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities on site
• Ensure all lifting operations are conducted according to approved lifting plans
• Verify crane certifications, lifting equipment, and operator competency
• Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift meetings
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and HSE regulations
• Inspect lifting gear and ensure proper usage and maintenance
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site teams
• Stop unsafe lifting activities and implement corrective actions
• Maintain records of lifting operations and inspections
