Overview
A leading
Construction Project
is hiring for
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Construction (preferred)
- CPCS A61 Appointed Person certification or equivalent
- Training in lifting operations and safety practices
- Knowledge of lifting regulations (LOLER or local standards)
- Ability to prepare lift plans and risk assessments
- Understanding of cranes, rigging, and load charts
- Strong safety awareness and decision-making skills
- 5+ years experience in lifting operations or related field
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage lifting operations
- Prepare lift plans and method statements
- Conduct risk assessments and identify hazards
- Select suitable cranes and lifting equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Verify competency of lifting team
- Coordinate with operators, riggers, and supervisors
- Monitor lifting activities on site
- Stop work in unsafe conditions
- Maintain records and inspection documents
Requirement
- Candidates should be present in Qatar with a valid QID
