Senior Liferay Developer
Dubai \| Contract - 12 months \| Immediate Joiners Preferred \| NO VISA SPONSORSHIP
We’ve partnered with a leading enterprise client in the UAE looking for a Senior Liferay Developer to support large-scale portal and digital transformation projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining enterprise portal applications using Liferay DXP / Portal
- Developing custom portlets, OSGi modules, services, hooks, and themes
- Integrating enterprise systems, APIs, authentication platforms, and third-party applications
- Supporting workflow, CMS, and portal customisation
- Driving performance optimisation, debugging, and troubleshooting across environments
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release activities
- Participating in architecture discussions and technical solution design
- Mentoring junior developers and contributing to code reviews
Requirements
- 6+ years Liferay development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java / J2EE
- Spring Boot
- OSGi Modules
• Jenkins, CI/CD, Git
- Experience across enterprise integrations, portal customisation, and performance optimisation
- Agile/Scrum experience preferred
- UAE-based candidates and immediate joiners highly preferred
