Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for a DCAS-licensed Life Support Instructor with AHA/ASHI credentials.
The Life Support Instructor will deliver high-quality training in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and related courses in line with AHA/ASHI and DCAS guidelines.
Responsibilities include planning and conducting classroom and simulation-based sessions, assessing participant performance, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring accurate documentation of attendance, evaluations, and certification records.
The instructor will maintain training equipment and simulation manikins, support course scheduling and logistics, and contribute to continuous improvement of course content and teaching materials.
The role also involves collaborating with clinical and academic teams to align training with current evidence-based practices and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
Qualifications
- Current DCAS license and valid AHA and/or ASHI instructor certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS), with up-to-date provider status in relevant life support courses.
- Clinical background in nursing, paramedicine, emergency medicine, or another relevant healthcare discipline, with hands-on experience in acute or critical care settings.
- Strong instructional and facilitation skills, including classroom teaching, skills demonstration, simulation-based training, and learner assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of healthcare professionals and adapt teaching styles to different learning needs.
- Solid knowledge of current resuscitation guidelines, patient safety principles, and emergency response protocols, with commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Organizational and administrative abilities, including maintaining accurate course records, managing schedules, and ensuring equipment readiness and safety.
