Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensing Lawyer, located in Dubai.
The Licensing Lawyer will oversee and manage all legal aspects of licensing processes for clients operating in the iGaming sector.
Responsibilities
include researching and analyzing licensing requirements, preparing and facilitating regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with local and international gaming laws, and providing legal counsel on complex licensing matters.
The role may also involve liaising with regulatory bodies and staying updated on legal developments in existing and emerging markets.
Accepting people willing to relocate.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of licensing laws and regulatory frameworks, particularly in iGaming markets (Curacao and Malta knowledge a plus)
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and compliance reports
- Excellent research and analytical skills to investigate legal and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for interactions with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
- Legal qualifications such as a Bachelor in Law or equivalent; admission to practice law in a recognized jurisdiction
- Experience in iGaming, gambling, or technology sectors is highly desirable
- Familiarity with markets in South America, or Africa is a plus
