In an environment of continuous quality improvement, t he Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for performing a variety of patient care activities, supporting the patients' medical and nursing plan of care.

Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.

• Assists in all aspects of patient care and non-patient care within their scope of practice.
• Complies with all safety and infection control standards.
• Provides patient care as assigned by charge nurse/team leader.
• Completes required competencies.
• Perform intake and discharge of patients.
• Complete required documentation in I-Heal.
• Assist in educating patient and caregivers on wound care and pertinent topics.
• Performs prescribed wound care treatments.
• Completes chart audits as needed.
• Maintains compliance in RQI.
• Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
