The Licensed Civil Engineer supports civil engineering project design and delivery in Abu Dhabi.
The role is full-time and on-site.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations.
- Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams and ensure compliance with codes and authority regulations.
- Plan project activities and contribute to stormwater management and infrastructure layouts.
- Provide technical input during building permit approval processes.
- Conduct site visits and support construction supervision.
- Resolve technical issues and collaborate with project managers to maintain quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Communicate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and authorities to support project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in civil engineering design and ability to produce safe, buildable, code-compliant solutions.
- Professional experience as a Civil Engineer, including coordination with multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
- Planning and project coordination skills to support timelines, deliverables, and authority submissions.
- Knowledge of stormwater management and related infrastructure design for urban and building projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure or registration as a Civil Engineer is required.
- Familiarity with local Abu Dhabi/UAE building codes, authority regulations, and permitting processes.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar; strong technical report-writing abilities.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
