QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current blaster's license
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
- Demonstrated ability to safely perform all essential functions of this position
- Two (2) years minimum of blasting experience in a quarry or mining environment
- Meet all state and federal requirements to qualify as ATF Explosive possessor (must pass background check)
- Two (2) years of underground mining experience preferred
- Physically be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Physically able to squat, bend, and twist repeatedly
- Operate equipment in a safe manner
- Assist with loading and connecting explosives safely
- Ability to be an integral team member in a growing, fast-paced environment
- Proven record with full cycle mining including, but not limited to drilling, blasting, haulage and ground support
- Candidate must successfully pass our pre-employment screening.
