Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Legal Receptionist role based in Doha, Qatar.
The Legal Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, greeting them professionally, managing check-in, and directing them to the appropriate legal team members.
Daily responsibilities include answering and routing phone calls, managing the reception email inbox, scheduling and confirming appointments and meetings, and maintaining an organized front office.
The role also involves handling incoming and outgoing mail and couriers, supporting basic legal document preparation and formatting under supervision, and ensuring that confidential information is handled discreetly.
The Legal Receptionist will collaborate closely with lawyers and administrative staff to support smooth office operations and a professional client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Phone Etiquette skills, with a professional and courteous client-facing manner.
- Knowledge of Law and interest in legal processes sufficient to support a fast-paced commercial law practice.
- Experience with Receptionist Duties, including front desk management, appointment scheduling, and visitor coordination.
- Ability to assist with Legal Document Preparation, such as formatting, proofreading, and organizing basic legal documents under guidance.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office, email and calendar tools) and basic document management systems.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential client and firm information.
- Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred; fluency in English is required, and Arabic language skills are an advantage.
