Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to oversee the company’s legal affairs and provide strategic legal guidance across all operational and commercial activities.
The ideal candidate will manage contracts, compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and legal matters related to sports facilities management, events, and commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to senior management and operational teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor contracts, sponsorship agreements, and service contracts.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage corporate governance, legal risk assessments, and compliance frameworks.
- Support procurement, facility operations, and event-related legal matters.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities when required.
- Handle disputes, claims, litigation support, and contract enforcement matters.
- Develop and maintain internal legal policies and procedures.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting sports, events, and facility operations.
- Protect the company’s legal interests, intellectual property, and confidential information.
& Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed legal practitioner in a recognized jurisdiction.
- Minimum 5–8 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate, commercial, sports, hospitality, or facilities management sectors.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience handling commercial agreements and operational legal matters is highly preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters with professionalism and integrity.
