Overview
A leading law firm in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a legal consultant responsible for evaluating legal consultations, preparing and reviewing contracts and agreements, and monitoring legal disputes.
The candidate will also provide legal opinions to management and clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparation, drafting, and review of legal documents, commercial contracts, partnership agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDA), and service agreements.
- Providing accurate legal consultations to clients and preparing relevant recommendations regarding commercial transactions and partnerships.
- Analysis and review of complex legal documents, preparing summaries, and recommending necessary amendments while ensuring the highest degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support and conduct legal due diligence.
- Preparation of legal memoranda, regulations, and pleadings related to commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution procedures.
- Management of legal workflows, preparation of work plans, and monitoring the progress of tasks using document management and task management systems.
- Conducting legal research and studies related to Saudi regulations and relevant judicial precedents.
Working Hours
From Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Skills
1.
Bachelor's degree in law; a master's degree (LL.M) is preferred.
2.
Minimum of five years of experience in reputable law firms or legal departments of companies (essential requirement).
3.
Advanced skills in legal drafting in both Arabic and English (essential requirement).
4.
Proficiency in English language speaking and writing.
5.
Advanced knowledge of Saudi regulations and Islamic legal principles, with experience in dealing with local and international issues.
6.
Practical knowledge of corporate law, compliance, and commercial contracts.
7.
Familiarity with modern legal technologies and document management systems.
8.
Familiarity with government digital platforms such as Najiz, Muin, Tarazi, etc. (essential requirement).
9.
Exceptional interpersonal skills including effective communication, presentation, evaluation, and teamwork, with strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
10.
Ability to provide precise and effective legal consultations and analyze complex legal transactions, proposing innovative and practical legal solutions.
