About This Role

A Legal Consultant / Corporate Lawyer provides expert legal guidance to ensure a company operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on corporate and commercial matters, managing legal risks, and supporting business decisions with sound legal insight. The position also handles regulatory compliance, corporate documentation, and coordination with external counsel when needed. Ideal candidates are licensed lawyers with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, capable of protecting the organization’s interests while enabling business growth.

What You’ll Do

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Ensure company compliance with local laws, regulations, and government requirements
• Handle corporate filings, permits, and documentation
• Represent the company in legal proceedings or coordinate with external counsel
• Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions
• Support management in business decisions from a legal perspective
• Stay updated on relevant laws and industry regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB or JD)
• Must be a licensed lawyer (Philippine Bar passer)
• At least 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate or commercial law
• Strong knowledge of Philippine corporate and labor laws
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information

Nice to Have

• Experience in the food, retail, or hospitality industry
• Background in compliance, contracts management, or litigation
• Experience working with startups or SMEs
