Legal Consultant

We are currently looking for Banking & Finance Lawyers with 4-10 years top-tier post-qualification experience, particularly in areas such as Corporate & Investment banking and regulatory/Compliance.

Advising on day-to-day business activities and legal/regulatory matters across the region Drafting and negotiating client documentation, including bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, trade finance agreements, working capital loans, guarantees, and collateral arrangements Developing template and bespoke documentation for both conventional and Islamic financial products Supporting M&A, capital markets, payments, trading, and securities services matters Assisting with new product launches and governance/management issues Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate financing documentation, including: Syndicated and bilateral loan facilities Islamic finance structures (Murabaha, Ijara, Sukuk) Trade finance instruments Project finance arrangements Advise internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory risks Ensure transactional compliance with UAE law, DIFC regulations, and applicable international standards Manage relationships with external counsel, overseeing quality and cost-effectiveness of legal services Support regulatory compliance, providing guidance on: UAE Central Bank regulations Anti-money laundering legislation Sanctions frameworks Assist with corporate governance matters Contribute to the development of internal policies and procedures What makes consulting with Peerpoint different?
