Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant (PII Compliance) to work on a contractor basis.

In this critical role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by ensuring the compliance of sensitive documents, supporting M&A documentation, and implementing rigorous compliance protocols.

Your domain knowledge and understanding of data privacy will shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about the intersection of law and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, redact, and generalize sensitive documents to ensure PII compliance, balancing data utility with privacy obligations.
  • Support M&A documentation by preparing and managing CIMs, SPAs, and other critical deal documentation.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous compliance protocols and reconciliation processes for complex data sets.
  • Advise on structural identifiability of confidential workflows, triage protocols, and proprietary procedures unique to clients.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to resolve PII-related issues and ensure compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of PII compliance regulations and best practices in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with document review, redaction, and generalization to ensure compliance with PII regulations.
  • Proven ability to prepare and manage complex documentation, including CIMs, SPAs, and other deal-related documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate PII-related risks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
