An experienced lawyer will join a rapidly growing international technology start-up.
The role supports legal matters across company platforms and markets and works directly with the co-founders, CEO, and Business Finance Lead.
The advisor is expected to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage contracts, draft and review terms and conditions, negotiate agreements, and advise on risk profiles.
- Draft and review investment documentation and negotiate contracts with partners.
- Develop legal strategy with management and leadership and support its implementation.
- Develop governance policies and monitor compliance across company markets.
- Research business risks and apply risk management techniques.
- Build relationships with multinational teams and external providers.
- Draft legal documents to protect the company’s rights and maintain current knowledge of legislation across markets.
- Support establishment of the company’s legal entity in new markets.
Requirements
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Three to five years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or contracts work.
- Experience in legal contract support in-house or in private practice, with business acumen.
- Knowledge of technology and commercial contract requirements, including intellectual property and data protection.
- Experience reviewing contracts using templates, guidance, or playbooks.
- Ability to draft contract terms and negotiate terms with third parties.
- Understanding of risk management techniques and strong integrity, ethics, independence, and resilience.
- Outsourcing experience is preferred but not essential.
