Lecturer, Philosophy
Role Overview
The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at East Tennessee State invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, lecturer position in Philosophy, beginning August 15, 2027. Further administrative responsibilities include coordinating with other instructors of critical thinking courses within the department, as well as other units on campus, including the Center for Teaching Excellence, Center for Academic Achievement, and General Education Advisory Council, both to support other instructors and elevate the quality of critical thinking instruction within the department.
The initial contract is for three years.
The position is renewable but is not a tenure-track position.
