Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Language Instructor to join a reputable higher education institution in Saudi Arabia.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality language instruction, enhancing students' communication skills, and supporting academic success through effective teaching and assessment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging language instruction to undergraduate students
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with curriculum objectives
- Improve students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills
- Conduct classroom activities that promote active learning and student participation
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Support curriculum development and course enhancement initiatives
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic coordination activities
- Contribute to student advising and academic support where required
- Engage in professional development and stay current with language teaching methodologies
Requirements
- Master's degree in English, Applied Linguistics, TESOL/TEFL, or a related field
- 3-5 years of teaching experience in higher education or relevant institutions
- Strong command of English (native or near-native proficiency preferred)
- Familiarity with modern language teaching methodologies and educational technologies
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to student-centered learning and academic excellence
- Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia are preferred
