Role Purpose
To maximize occupancy, rental income, and tenant satisfaction while ensuring the facility operates safely, efficiently, and to all authority safety standards and other regulations.
The role combines leasing leadership (tenant mix, renewals, new deals) with hands-on facility operations (day-to-day services, facilities coordination, customer experience, and marketing execution).
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain
- high occupancy
- and reduce vacancy downtime through proactive leasing and renewals.
- Grow and protect
- net rental income
- via effective rate positioning, lease structuring, and disciplined arrears control.
- Deliver strong
- tenant relationships
- (retention, issue resolution, compliance)
- Ensure
- safe, clean, compliant operations
- and positive customer experience through service partner management and standards
- Execute
- marketing & promotions
- that support footfall and tenant sales performance
- Prepare operational annual budgets and ensure monthly adherence to the budgeted KPIs
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong
- commercial leasing
- capability: prospecting, negotiation, renewals, and relationship management
- Excellent stakeholder management: tenants, owners, vendors, authorities.
- Solid operational judgment: customer experience mindset, safety-first thinking, problem solving.
- Financial literacy: rent structures, basic budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting discipline.
- Confident communicator (written + verbal), capable of firm governance with diplomacy
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Marketing, or similar (preferred)
- **5+ years**
- in office/retail leasing, or commercial property operations (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of lease documentation and commercial terms; familiarity with property management systems/CRM is an advantage
