Learning and Development Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the EMEA Learning and Development Manager to identify and review training needs across airport lounges and all outlets, aiming to maintain high standards of customer service.
• Enhance participation and training effectiveness through the creation of engagement activities.
• Plan and manage initiatives within the learning calendar to ensure timely implementation for Managers, Operational colleagues, Management Trainees, and Interns.
• Provide close coaching to the KSA L&D team and Operational Trainers to optimize their skillsets.
• Conduct training needs assessments, provide recommendations, and develop training solutions that align with company values, business objectives, and employee development needs.
• Plan, develop, conduct, and supervise training and development programs tailored to business requirements.
• Update training manuals based on operational needs and changes.
• Plan, review, prepare, and monitor the overall Training Plan and monthly training calendars.
• Train and manage the team of internal trainers to ensure effective delivery of all internal training programs.
• Work with external training providers for in-house or public training programs.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve operational workflow procedures.
• Manage learning program administration and maintain accurate training records.
• Assist in setting up new operations and participate in business development initiatives.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned by the company.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Learning & Development, including training design and facilitation.
• Certification in branded training products and psychometric tools (, MBTI, 360 Assessment, DISC) is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience in e-learning design, career development, and talent management.
• Required Skills
• Mature individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of working effectively within a multicultural organization.

Work Environment

• The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires maintaining close relationships with various departments to provide effective account services. The manager will also coach team members to achieve optimal performance levels and monitor the effectiveness of policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
