Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Defense Engineering Leader to manage the design, development, testing, integration, and production of advanced weapon systems including turret systems, Remote Weapon Stations (RWS), launcher systems, and stabilized platforms for defense applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and development of advanced weapon systems
- Oversee turret systems, RWS, launcher systems, and stabilized mounts
- Manage structural design, recoil mitigation, ruggedization, and system integration
- Lead prototyping, qualification testing, validation, and production readiness
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams
- Develop engineering standards, testing protocols, and production workflows
Requirements
- Strong expertise in mechanical/electromechanical weapon systems
- Experience with turret systems, launcher systems, and stabilization platforms
- Background in defense manufacturing and system integration
- 10+ years of defense engineering experience with leadership exposure
- MSc or PhD in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics, Weapons Engineering, or related field preferred
