Job summary
Leads the execution of IT vendor and contract management activities.
Manages operational vendor interactions, tracks performance, supports contract administration, and ensures suppliers comply with SLAs and contractual obligations.
Executes regular vendor reviews, enforces issue resolution, and drives continuous performance improvement.
This role is critical in ensuring reliable vendor delivery, timely contract renewals and procurement, and efficient processing of supplier invoices.
Vendor Management
- Manage day-to-day operational interactions with IT vendors to support timely service delivery and adherence to performance expectations.
- Execute regular vendor meetings, check-ins, and follow-ups as part of established governance forums.
- Track SLA adherence, record service disruptions, and initiate corrective actions in coordination with the Manager.
- Maintain detailed logs of vendor issues, communications, escalations, and actions taken.
- Support the timely processing of validated supplier invoices in coordination with procurement.
- Assist the Manager in conducting vendor assessments and monitoring vendor compliance, while identifying and logging vendor-related risks such as delivery delays, contractual breaches, or cybersecurity concerns.

Contract Administration & Compliance
- Execute contract lifecycle tasks such as vendor onboarding coordination, documentation updates, and contract closure activities in alignment with defined governance processes.
- Track contract milestones, renewal dates, deliverables, and pricing terms to support contract compliance and readiness.
- Maintain and update the centralized contract repository with relevant terms, obligations, and contract amendments.
- Coordinate contract amendment requests, approval workflows, and documentation with internal legal, procurement, and finance teams.
- Track contract expiration and renewal timelines, flagging upcoming actions for timely execution and compliance.
- Maintain and update the annual procurement plan for contract renewals in close coordination with the Procurement function.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor vendor performance metrics and track delivery against contractual obligations.
- Develop and update vendor dashboards and reports to support formal performance review cycles.
- Escalate unresolved vendor performance issues to the Manager with supporting analysis and impact narratives.
- Gather operational feedback on vendor performance and contribute suggestions for process and performance improvements.
Cost Optimization & Value Realization
- Track vendor costs, invoicing accuracy, and service consumption to validate value delivered against contractual terms.
- Identify potential overcharges, billing discrepancies, or underutilized services and initiate clarification with vendors.
- Support revalidation of commercial terms during renewals or renegotiation processes based on service value and usage analysis.
- Contribute inputs to procurement for cost benchmarking or vendor re-tendering activities.
Technology & Industry Trends
- Monitor trends in IT sourcing, contract models, vendor risk management, and multi-vendor ecosystems.
- Stay up to date with UAE-specific procurement standards, and service regulations.
- Recommend adoption of best practices, technologies, or frameworks to enhance vendor governance and contract efficiency.
Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems
- Follow the operational strategy in compliance with group delegation of authority policy.
- Ensure the compliance of organization’s policy, systems, processes, procedures, and controls in line with group delegation of authority policy so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
Reporting
- Ensure that all reports are completed timely and comply with the business and organization’s policies and standards.
- Manage the preparation of periodical management reports and progress reports to keep the business senior management informed about the progress of various initiatives and to facilitate decision-making.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in IT vendor management, contract execution, or procurement support roles.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration processes, SLA tracking, and vendor operations.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to IT procurement and vendor governance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, contract tracking tools, and service management platforms.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business Administration, or related).
Experience
- 7–9 years of experience in IT vendor or contract operations, including performance analysis and risk documentation.
- Experience supporting service contract lifecycle in large-scale organizations or regulated sectors.
- Exposure to vendor performance management platforms or procurement automation tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, ServiceNow).
