The platform provides real-time position and risk management and connects to 100+ electronic trading venues and 20+ regulatory bodies.

The role combines UI/UX engineering, application development, and leadership in modernizing the platform.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with teams to integrate functions and define enhancements for new products and process improvements.
  • Lead design and implementation of robust, testable code and develop non-functional features for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Resolve complex problems by evaluating business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
  • Ensure application design follows the architecture blueprint; establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
  • Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions; advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
  • Assess risk, follow policy and applicable laws and regulations, and transparently manage and report control issues.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant application development experience.
  • Experience in system analysis and software application programming, especially performance and component testability.
  • Expertise in HTML5 and JavaScript, including React and Node.js, and knowledge of standard web development concepts.
  • Good knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot and Devin.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Fixed Income products is a plus; Fixed Income and derivatives knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
  • C# and .NET Framework are nice to have.
  • Proactive, adaptable, collaborative, and able to demonstrate leadership.

Technology and business context

  • The role focuses on transitioning the application to smaller services and enabling fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in a mature development environment and ideas that challenge current practices are valued.

Compensation

  • The stated full-time salary range is $120,800 to $170,800.
