Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for a Lead Technician.
The Lead Technician will be responsible for supervising and executing pipeline isolation, hot tapping, and plugging operations.
The role involves overseeing equipment maintenance and worksite preparation, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and providing technical guidance to team members.
The Lead Technician may also collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in pipeline isolation, hot tapping, plugging, and associated equipment operation
- Experience in supervising teams, worksite safety compliance, and project execution
- Knowledge of industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical analysis abilities
- Solid communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to mentor team members effectively
- Experience in offshore, onshore, or subsea pipeline operations is a plus
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical or technical engineering fields
