Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Java.
- Develop Java Native Modules and bridges for React Native integration with Android APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Integrate and optimize secure RESTful APIs built with Java frameworks, including Spring Boot and microservices.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI rendering issues across devices.
- Implement Figma or Adobe XD designs as responsive mobile screens using Flexbox and React Native components.
- Build scalable state management with Redux, Redux-Saga, or Context API; write unit and integration tests with Jest or JUnit.
- Manage mobile deployment pipelines and releases to Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Required qualifications and skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript; understanding of React components, hooks, state, props, and lifecycle methods.
- Knowledge of mobile navigation, deep linking, and offline storage such as SQLite or Realm.
- Strong Core Java and object-oriented programming foundation; hands-on Android development or React Native Android Native Module experience using Java and Android Studio.
- Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot, microservices, and MVC; database experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Git version control mastery and familiarity with mobile build CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Five to seven years of work experience.
Preferred qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Native iOS development with Swift or Objective-C and Xcode, and familiarity with Docker, are preferred.
