Role overview

Software engineering responsibilities

• Lead enterprise application, API, and service design, development, and delivery.
• Drive architecture and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Guide engineering teams, lead design and code reviews, and mentor associate and senior engineers.
• Implement microservices, integrations, reusable frameworks, and cloud-native applications.
• Support security, compliance, performance, scalability, reliability, CI/CD, deployment automation, and observability.
• Drive improvements to architecture, development standards, testing, and operational practices.

AI responsibilities

• Lead AI-powered applications and intelligent automation, including RAG architectures and enterprise knowledge retrieval.
• Build AI services using LLMs, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Set generative AI engineering practices and guide prompt engineering, evaluation, and AI observability.
• Identify AI use cases, evaluate technologies, and design integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Promote responsible AI, security, compliance, and data governance; develop reusable accelerators and agent workflows.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Enterprise-scale application development using Python and/or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience building modern web applications using React or a similar front-end framework.
• Expertise spanning full-stack development, solution design, cloud engineering, data engineering, and AI application development.
