Lead Software Engineer - AI & Quality Engineering Focus (C# and Azure Cloud)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements, design solutions, implement and test software, and support solutions in production.
• Deliver customer features and continuously improve the product, engineering practices, and ways of working.
• Advance test automation, quality engineering, CI/CD, Azure cloud transformation, performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Explore how AI can improve development productivity, testing effectiveness, and issue detection.

Valued experience

• Experience with C# and .NET development and Microsoft Azure is valued.
• Experience with test automation and quality engineering, including Playwright or Cypress, is valued.
• Experience with agile testing, CI/CD, AI-assisted development tools, generative AI in engineering, performance, observability, and scalability is valued.
• English is the corporate language and is used in all communication.

Workplace

• The role is based in Toronto.
• SimCorp’s global hybrid policy asks employees to work from the office two days each week and allows remote work on other days.

Compensation

• For Toronto, the salary range is CAD 113,840–170,760; base pay may vary with experience, skills, and qualifications.
• Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off, and Group RRSP/TFSA.
