Responsibilities

• Lead full-stack feature design and delivery across Java Spring Boot microservices and React applications.
• Drive distributed architecture, service decomposition, REST communication, resilience patterns, and frontend component architecture.
• Build performant React applications and use Redis for caching, sessions, and distributed data patterns.
• Develop and tune Oracle schemas, queries, and stored procedures for high-throughput workloads.
• Architect and operate cloud-native GCP solutions for scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Use AI coding assistants and integrate AI-assisted code review, test generation, and documentation into team workflows.
• Mentor engineers and raise code quality, design thinking, and engineering culture.
• Own delivery through deployment, monitoring, and production support; maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized services.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into engineering plans and communicate progress and trade-offs to stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Java Spring Boot microservices expertise, including service decomposition, REST communication, and resilience patterns.
• Strong React experience covering component architecture, state management, API integration, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on Redis experience with caching, session management, pub/sub, sorted sets, and TTL strategies.
• Oracle Database proficiency in schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with GCP, cloud-native architectures, scalable backend systems, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Hands-on Claude or comparable AI coding assistant experience, plus familiarity with agentic workflows.
• Strong software design, data structures, and distributed systems knowledge; able to independently deliver features from design to production.

Preferred skills

• Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, event-driven architecture, Kafka or Pub/Sub, observability tools, and agile development.
• LLM-powered features, AI pipelines, developer tooling, or enterprise application servers such as WebLogic and Tomcat.
