Overview
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to lead the deployment and configuration of JFrog Artifactory and Xray within a secure enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on role responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting a secure software artifact management platform across DMZ and internal network environments.
Responsibilities
Deploy and configure JFrog Artifactory and Xray
Configure repositories for Docker/OCI, PyPI, Maven, Conda, and generic package types
Design and implement secure repository replication between environments
Configure repository federation, distribution, and access controls
Integrate with Active Directory, LDAP, OIDC, or SSO platforms
Configure Xray security policies and vulnerability scanning
Deploy and configure PostgreSQL databases and storage backends
Support testing, troubleshooting, and production rollout activities
Produce technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer sessions
Provide recommendations on platform architecture, security, and best practices
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with JFrog Artifactory
Experience deploying and configuring JFrog Xray
Experience with Docker, Maven, PyPI, Conda, and repository management
Linux administration experience
PostgreSQL administration experience
Experience integrating LDAP, Active Directory, OIDC, or SSO solutions
Strong understanding of SSL/TLS security
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Desirable Skills
Experience with air-gapped or highly secure environments
Experience with DMZ and secure replication architectures
Kubernetes or OpenShift experience
Experience with MinIO, Ceph, S3, or similar storage platforms
Knowledge of software supply chain security and artifact signing

Fully deployed and operational JFrog Xray environment
Repository and replication configuration
Security policy implementation
Technical documentation and operational runbooks
Knowledge transfer and production handover
Experience
Candidates should have successfully delivered at least one enterprise-scale JFrog Artifactory and Xray implementation from design through to production deployment
