Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands‐on SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA (ECC to S/4 conversion, new development).
  • Proficiency in ABAP OO, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, ALV, and OData services.
  • Experience with SAP integration technologies (IDoc, ALE, RFC, SOAP/REST).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership or team‐lead experience.
  • Excellent problem‐solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with cross‐functional teams and communicate effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • SAP certification (ABAP, S/4HANA) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and enhancement of ABAP objects in the S/4HANA environment.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and robust code.
  • Perform code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
  • Integrate SAP modules with external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, OData, and APIs.
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in existing ABAP programs.
  • Support functional teams during testing, UAT, and production rollout.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP S/4HANA migration guidelines and upgrade strategies.
  • Collaborate with architecture and delivery leads to define technical roadmaps.
  • Manage documentation, version control, and change management processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in SAP development practices.
