Lead - Procurement Quality(Offshore)
About This Role
We are currently looking for Lead - Procurement Quality to be based in Abu Dhabi location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the procurement process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Develop and maintain procurement strategies and plans in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with project teams, engineering, and construction groups to ensure alignment and effective communication of procurement requirements.
- Review and approve procurement documentation, including RFQs, technical bids, and supplier quotations.
- Monitor procurement progress and resolve any issues or delays in material deliveries.
- Manage and track procurement budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC and other regulatory and contractual standards and requirements.
- Lead the procurement team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and staff.
- Participate in risk management activities and ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place for procurement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of procurement experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- At least 5 years of experience in offshore projects.
- Proven experience working in a PMC role and delivering successful procurement strategies for large-scale projects.
- Previous experience with ADNOC projects is a strong advantage.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier management.
- Proficiency with procurement software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
